Thanksgiving Program

Today was Matthew's first Thanksgiving program at school. He had the option to dance or be a number. He chose to be a number which made his father really happy (he thinks that males should not dance). He was the number nine.
Paige had her Thanksgiving feast at Mother's Day Out yesterday. They made these cute heads pieces for them and I thought it would be fitting for her to wear to the program.
I really love the picture of Matt and Paige together. Lately it has been difficult to get an awesome picture of them together since Paige still doesn't like the camera that much.

Leaves

Our beautiful trees in our front yard have matured enough for us to enjoy the falling leaves in the fall. I love this time of year and the kids are enjoying it too.

Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch

Halloween Night

Halloween night was spooktacular. This was Paige's first year to trick or treat and she was so cute. Every time she received a piece of candy she would giggle and have to show everyone what she had received. We went to our ward building to trunk or treat and then headed off with the neighbors to trick or treat around the block.

Alliance Air Show

This years airshow was amazing. Paige, Clay and I went up on Friday to watch them practice right outside of Alliance and this was a spectacular view. In between planes you would see a swarm of military planes come in to land. Most of the planes that landed would not fly in the show so it was cool actually see them in action. Fat Albert flew right over our heads and it was a rush. Clay got chills over one of the planes breaking the sound barrier three times right over his head. Paige loved it. She did not want us to cover her ears and just kept saying "wow". I drove super fast to pick Matt up from school hoping that he could see the Blue angles practice and he did.
The Next day was Super Saturday for me and I signed up for all of this stuff. I went the first hour just to pick up all of my projects, Clay wanted to be there when the gates open. When we walked up to the gate you had to walk a mile away in a mile just to walk a mile back to get in. total madness. This year Nikki and Brain asked us to join them and Emma in the Bell Helicopter Tent. This was an awesome view right up and close to center stage. Paige did great until she became tired, but she was able to sleep through all of the commotion. Emma and Matthew had a fun time following each other around. Matthew kept getting a balloon object made and shortly after would get disappointed because it would pop. The planes were amazing. With Clay's mad skills we were able to get pass all the non moving lines of traffic and as we were leaving it is as the Red Sea was being parted for us. We just happened to be the first ones that a cop opened up an additional line of traffic and took us happily on our way. 7 hours of beautiful aircraft.
