Clay is switching air crafts and bases come January. He has just been awarded Midland and will be flying an ATR. He will most likely be moving in with one of the other pilots at the base. This is a good move. In January Empire is scrapping all the Fokkers and closing Alliance and Wichita base. He was awarded Alaska (also an ATR base) about a month ago so he was not worried about losing his job. He took Midland because he will get more hours flying, it is an easier commute and he is able to drive the truck out there. They will also make him a check airman in the ATR.

this is awesome news! can't get enough of the midwest, eh? wait...midland is kansas, right? or midland tx?
Midland Texas would be my destination. Not much there other than oil drills and sand....
